Acqua Doria Limited opened in 2003 to provide homecare in our local community. Our hard work and attention to detail very quickly paid off and we established an excellent reputation for high standards of care, our dedicated and reliable staff ensured that we swiftly became the largest provider of homecare in the Alton area. Tightening financial budgets led Hampshire County Council to tender their homecare and a company from Manchester were awarded the contracts in Alton leading to our closure in 2015. Our phone has continued to ring over the past 18 months with enquiries for help. It's clear that the busy local agencies have little available time to help those who don’t desperately need personal care and we began to understand that many of the people we were speaking to really needed some daily assistance to remain at home safely, not necessarily care, but help. We realised that our extensive knowledge of the local community together with our experience of helping people could be applied to many different sectors and we started to research the kind of support the community required. With renewed enthusiasm and a desire to once again provide the highest standard of service possible, we reopened our doors.
