‘Fitted Saddles’ is the name given to the saddlery department of Horse-e-Things Saddlery & Tack Shop in Fordingbridge, Hants on the western most borders of the New Forest. Covering an area which includes Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire, our vehicles are becoming a familiar sight throughout these counties.
We stock a wide range of Leather, Half Leather and Synthetic saddles to suit every pocket and we maintain a fairly large selection of second hand saddles which are either owned by us or sold on behalf of other clients.
Our stated aim is to provide the best fit for the horse (or pony) based on current size, age and action of both the rider and the horse, with an eye on the most likely changes as the two become used to each other and their new saddle.
We charge to come out to your yard and carry out either a saddle fitting with a selection of saddles or a saddle check with your own saddle(s). When you buy a saddle from us the charges (or a part of the charges) will be waived, but because we are charging a fair rate for attending your yard you can be guaranteed our full attention and an unbiased view of what’s right.
